Worst pregnancy acid reflux ever tonite!! Please help.?
For some reason, tonight my acid reflux is worse than ever. I have not been able to sleep at all. I have no kind of meds or antacids around. Any at home tips? Please help...
Question about pregnancy and acid reflux?
okay, so i think i may be pregnant.. and i suffer from acid reflux horribly ever since i had my daughter almost two years now. And it used to be so bad that i couldnt even breath at night, well now i am on zantac twice a day, 150 milligrams. and i am affraid that if i am pregnant, its not gunna help or i wont be able to take the meds... and im gunna suffer bad bad. whats gunna happen? i dont wanna get esophogas cancer. some1 please helpserious answers please. im kinda scared....oh and my first baby was a c section, and i think thats what caused my acid reflux in the first place, will another c section make things even worse? ? ?
Any home remedies for dealing with Acid Reflux during pregnancy?
I am 24wks. pregnant and I just found out about a month or more ago that I have Acid Reflux. The Dr. put me on meds. for it but it seems like the bigger my uterus gets the worse the Acid Reflux gets. I get a terrible tighting in my chest and I begin to cough constantly until I literally throw up. I was wondering if anyone had any sugguestions or home remedies that I can try out that may help. Thanks.
Pregnancy & heartburn/acid reflux?
I know all the info to help prevent heartburn acid reflux don't eat spicy foods, drink milk, don't lay down right after eating, raise the top of your bed at night, etc, etc. But is there something I'm missing? I don't want to take meds or tums, etc, cuz I'm pregnant & I don't like taking any type of meds while pregnant. So, what else can I try to get this burning in my neck to go away?
Acid reflux during pregnancy?
I've been getting acid reflux really bad with this pregnancy 2 . It's to the point that I've had to sleep with several pillows under my head to keep my head elevated. I've tried rolaids and maalox max, but they only help temporarily. I've tried drinking milk before bed. I've tried watching my diet, but even plain rice gives me heartburn No matter what I do, as soon as I lay down, it starts up again. It's interfering with my sleep, and the other night I woke up choking on something that tasted like bile, and burned like heartburn. It really scared me. Any opinions or tips on how to make this any better? Thanks
Is Prevacid (medicine for acid reflux) ok to take during pregnancy?
I don't even know if i'm pregnant yet. Thats not my question. My question is i take Prevacid every day for my Gastro esophageal reflux disease heartburn times 100 i can't live without it. my reflux is that bad. but if i get pregnant or if i already am does anyone know if it will hurt the baby? or if there is something else i can take? over the counter prilosec, tums, mylanta, none of that works, its not strong enough. has anyone had this problem? if its really bad i will not take it obviously the baby's health is more important but i need to take something. any ideas??
Is acid reflux common during pregnancy?
I'm 22 weeks little over half way, and wow is he a kicker and I've been experiencing really bad acid reflux the past few days to the point where I almost vomit when I burp baby barf I think they call it . It doesn't matter what I eat either. I can have spaghetti one day and have it, same meal the next day and I won't have it. Right now I just had a bowl of jello and I've got it. Tums which were approved by my Dr. aren't helping either. Any suggestions?
Acid reflux or early pregnancy???
what really causes acid reflux. My wife has never had this before along with nausea...and hunger. it comes and gos. like today shes fine..but it seems ironic for her to have these symptoms if shes not pregnant??We are wanting a child and trying so I just need advise or someone who knows the chances..nausea seems like pregnancy but acid relfux seems like it too....
Nausea, acid reflux and hunger,Is this early pregnancy?
my wife and i have been trying for only two months. She started feeling bad last week. She got bloated and gassy but then it went away. Then a few days ago got nausea..it got worse the lats couple days at night. And she also feels like she has acid reflux..but her nausea feels like she wants to throw up but she cant. today she feels fine. no nausea...could she be pregnant still? or once you get those symptoms do they constantly stay? or do they come and go in early pregnancy??? and....she got this hungry feeling in her stomach all the time..almost 24 7. like the empty feeling you get when your starving. but like I said she feels normal today..will it come back...I need to know something ...shes never had these symptoms before?
Acid reflux in pregnancy?
i have been suffering with acid reflux for the last 3 years and im now pregnant and been advised by the doctor that i cant really take the medication ive been taking for it. Any suggestions what i can take for it?
