What are the syptoms of infant acid reflux and if an infant doesn't have it what are the adverse side effects
My doctor put my son on Zantac but he never spit up before he was on it and now he does a little and I asked her about the dairl soy intolerance and she said that my diet had nothing to do with his runny stools, rash on behind and crying almost all day and till the night but I cut back on dairy and he seems a whole lot better. does anyone have any info and their child that was given Zantac? And what are symptoms of dairy intolerance?

My baby after discovering that she has severe milk allergies, now has been diagnosed with acid reflux. She is taking meds but it doesn't seem to be helping. She is 4 months old and they haven't put her on cereal yet. I've read that this helps? She doesn't sleep well because I think the reflux is bothering her. I have tilted the head of her bed and it still doesn't seem to help. Anymore suggestions?
How do you get the doc to take you seriously about infant acid reflux?
Madeleine is 3 1 2 months old and has been showing all of the symptoms of acid reflux from my research online anyway for over 3 weeks now. Just when she seemed to get over her severe gas problems, she started waking up in her sleep 2 3 times in the night screaming, would arch her back and cry while trying to eat all day, always seems starving especially after 8PM , spits up with every bottle, sweats profusely and snores like my husband My poor little one is usually a very happy baby, but she is miserable most of the day now. I brought the symptoms up with our current doc and she didn't even mention acid reflux She just said...well, babies do that. She will grow out of it. What can I do?

What are symptoms of acid reflux in infants? My son spits up what I think is quite a bit, but my first never spit up so I don't have much of a comparison. Is excessive spit up even a symptom?

I have been using axid and also colic calm for my son's relfux. He is 9 weeks old, and has more of the silent reflux that doesn't spit up. But, I notice him gagging alot, having wet burps, and just all around fussy.Friends... I have been to his Dr. Thats how I recieved the Axid he is on I didn't just change his formula and give him medicine on a whim

I plan to supplement with formula next month when my baby will be 3 months old. He has acid reflux and is probably lactose intolerant possible milk allergy. Which formula is recommended ? I will be asking the pediatrician as well. But before I speak with him, I wanted to find out what is widely used so that I can ask him if I can use the same for my baby. What helps with acid reflux in infants?
Sitting up after eating doesn't seem to help my son. I have taken him to the Dr. and she said to come back if he is spitting up excessively, which is why I went in the first place I just don't know what to do, he eats often, because he is hungry because he spits up so much. Eating less amounts, more frequently does not seem to help him either.We are breastfeeding exclusively.Yeah, he also spits up while breastfeeding, even if I have him tilted at an angle. Nothing conventional is helping. I don't think he is having trouble gaining weight, because he is feeding so often because he throws most of it back up
What is good for a breastfeeding mother to eat if her infant has acid reflux?
My daughter is 4 weeks old and has acid reflux and I feel like I am starving. Can anyone give me ideas on what I can eat, I am currently avoiding dairy and citrus foods. How long does acid Reflux last with an infant?
My daughter has acid reflux and wont keep her food down. She spits evrything up and the only way I have found to feed her is to keep her sitting up and feeding her. She has not spit anything up so far.
Infant acid reflux and nursing?
Has anyone had any problems nursing a baby with acid reflux? I can't get him to nurse we've been trying for weeks . I'm pumping so the milk isn't an issue. I was feeling bad, but he hates lying flat So no wonder he won't nurse. Anyone have this problem and were you able to nurse once the acid reflux was under control? He's 6 weeks now and I'm hoping to still get him on the breast. Many lactation consultants have worked with us, so I know it's not me or the baby.

A Doctor friend told me this but my daughter's doctor has never mention this....she told me just to elevate her head while sleep and put her on Zantac.The other night my daughter's breathing patterns were quit off when she was sleep. She sleep with the Angle care sensor under her mattress and it went off. I ran in her room and she seem real silent. I pushed on her back and her little hands moved. Trying to figure out what happen......She was not blue....the monitor goes off 20 sec after not detecting movement. She just got over a cold as well and we went to the doctor almost every day checking her oxygen level and it was good.My daughter's doctor put her on Zantac...I would never give her anything that was not prescribed to her.....I am surprised someone actually would think that.
