Question: 5 years ago i had gerd surgery for acid reflux.?

The last month the acid is back and I can't sleep. Is this common after having surgery?

What surgery did they do? Did they stretch your esophagus? Or fix the opening at the end of the esophagus, what? I would think you would have to be on GERD meds all your life.
