Sore throat for over a month and acid reflux/gerd?

Question: Sore throat for over a month and acid reflux/gerd?

(Posted by: thomas on 2008-11-27 19:53:29)

I've had a sore throat for over a month now. I have no signs of strep throat. I have taken antibiotics and that didn't do much. I have taken nexium and that has helped a little. I also have elevated my head on a pillow and that has helped a little. I'm 54 and a drinker. Is this most likely caused by GERD or acid reflux? I have not had any signs of weightloss, appetite loss, fatigue, etc.

Sore throats can reinfect constantly if the germ is living in a cracked or rotten tooth. Even good dentist can miss that are tooth base can be cracked in the gum, the part you cant see, and it harbours a strep or straph type infection that comes and goes all the time. stomach acids can play up if the heart is failing to get blood to that part of the system, eg hardening of the arterys. After heart surgery for blocked veins (bypass surgery) some people find that there stomach problems go away. False brain messages to and fro to the stomach can be caused by spinal pressure to the spinal cord. A chiropractor can fix that up. Throat infection = = = = = = = = = = = = Place a little water in a cup Add four to ten drops of Tabasco sauce Gargle and spit it out Rinse mouth with normal water but don’t gargle or swallow it. Repeat in 20-30 mins time and 20-30 mins after that = end of infection. (Cells divide in 20 mins, by killing the surviving cells that divide, you win) It works
