Do i have acid reflux?
i keep getting this feeling wherre my throat like .. rlyyy burnsand i have to burp alot , even when im not eating or drinking,it feels like i have to burp or vomit and it neverrrr ever comes out & it hurts so badd in my throat and my stomachh.. my friend said i might have acid reflux?
What happens if you have acid reflux/heartburn?
I'm only 15 and I have severe heartburn and acid reflux.I've taken prescription medication medication from my doctor which greatly decreased the pain feeling of it, but sometimes it still happens especially now since it's Christmas... eating all sorts of rich foods Should the medication have taken away the heartburn altogether?And also, are there any serious side effects of heartburn?
Need Help ASAP - acid reflux?
Right now my throat feels really dry and it feels like there's a lump in my throat that won't go down...It troublesome to burp and swallow normally...I seem to be getting enough oxygen...but this is scary...it feels so weird ..I hope it's not a swelling. I checked the back of my throat and i don't see anything weird...I tryed breathing in steam, taking advil, putting ice on my throat and nothing is working....There is no burning back there but it is not uncommon for me to wake up with an itchy sore throat and have excessive burping from gas....I just don't know why it feels so dry and like a big clump back there...is it just settled gas from that soup I ate or a tyroid problem?Is there anyway I can tell before I start making assumptions based on fear?Thanks..I need help now because im really uncomfortable...I can't breathe through one of my nostrils either...which is weird..but im not congested so..whatever the dry lump feeling is is effecting how i breathe, talk, and swallow.
Cant sleep, might be acid reflux?
i got the flu yesterday and ive been trying to sleep but whenever i lay down i uncontrollably start swallowing air then burping it back up, its stopping me from sleeping. is there anything i can do about it?

I have acid reflux disease. I was diagnosed last year around February. I'm on prevacid 2 times a day and ranitidine 2 times a day. It seems like whenever I drink alcohol, my throat gets really sore and I get ulcers on the back of my throat. Could this have anything to do with my acid reflux or my medicine?Please let me know. It hurts so bad to swallow, but I don't feel bad.okay thanks there asshole.i'm not an alcoholic.
For those taking Lipitor with Acid Reflux Disease?
Have you found that taking Lipitor has made your acid reflux worse? My hubby is trying to figure out when his reflux got worse and thinks it is when Lipitor was added to his regimen. He has stopped taking it to see if this helps. He did have a EGD that found nothing out of the ordinary.
Acid reflux and thick mucus in throat - advice needed.?
Hi All,I wonder whether anyone can help or reassure me.I have suffered from acid reflux as a result of panic anxiety for a number of years. The main symptoms were originally burning in the chest sternum, regurgitating acid into to throat, burning between the shoulder blades, and constant belching.More recently these symptoms increased to include a thick coating of phlegm in the mouth, and a thick, heavy, mass of mucus in the back of my throat. The latter makes swallowing uneasy, and panics me sometimes that I can't breath.I went to the doctor who prescribed me the PPI Protium Protonix in the US . Obviously I'm impatient and anxious to help the symptoms as they're really distracting I'm off work with them and unpleasant too.My questions are 1. Has anyone suffered anything similar?2. What is causing this thick mucus in my throat?and 3. How long do these PPI's take to work? Do they help with removing the mucus?Any replies really appreciated.
