Could my 4 year old have acid reflux disease?
He always says his stomach and throat hurts, but only when hes lying down about to go to bed. I do know hes not saying that just to stay up because I can tell when he is fibbing. Also, he didnt actually throw up but spit some out once one day and once another day. He is very energetic lately too, but still doesnt seem himself.I already made a doc apt. I know, but in the meantime, what could this be?

as well as I BS ,is there a special diet that she should follow for both of these conditions? our home care aid saye that she should avoid tomatoes and anything with tomatoes in it.my mother says no but then shes got dementia and has no idea whats going on here.serious answers please
Is acid reflux disease only an overweight person's condition...?
or can skinny people get it too? I have GERD but I'm 100 lbs overweight. It developed about 3 years ago during the time I was gaining all this weight. Will it go away with weight loss or will I always have it? My doctor says I will always have to be on the medication like Prilosec or Protonix. My father has GERD also but he's in his 60s so could it be genetic in my case? He has to take a pill every day too. He is, however, a little overweight.

I have been diagnose with GERD 2 years ago, this was since I started college and has some what triggered this because of my high stress levels. I ve taken pills but that hasn't worked. And quit other treatment because it was too expensive for me, can't afford it. So right now I took a semester off school because my symptoms have been worsening. But now they are ok, they are not improving, only the heartburn part. But I've been on green tea and eating a lot of yogurt and lactobactilus pills, to see if that's a better way to deal with this. I would like to know if GERD disease or acid reflux condition causes serious health conditions in the future, if you don't get treatment and stuff? What are some things you do daily to deal with this awful situation? or what advice can you give me? I would appreciate your help. Thanks.
What else can you eat if you have GERD (acid reflux disease)?
They say I can't eat spicy, tomato sauce, fatty, citrus, etc....but what is left there to eat besides veggies, fruits, and poultry? I don't want to starve myself. Because sometimes it feels that way. My GERD symptoms are somewhat improving, but what else can I eat? Do I need some kind of dietary supplement?

I ended up in the emergency room last night...I thought I was having a heart attack, my heartrate was 120 beats per minute. The emergency room done extensive tests and said I had a very healthy heart. I have indigestion on a daily basis. I was told I have esophagitis. How serious is this disease ?Has anyone else been diagnosed or know someone who has been diagnosed with acid reflux disease ? What was your their symptoms ? Did you they get better after taking medication s ?halfway there The hospital diagnosed me with GERD as well. Thanks for your answer.
I have the worst heartburn, and acid reflux disease...?
I'm about 18 weeks pregnant and I have the worst heartburn. Nothing helps at all. Even when I drink water, and when I burp acid comes up, along with food, if I ate something. I can't stand it What can I eat to ease it, tums don't help me.

I've searched around but nothing tells me about my symptoms..I have frequent throat soreness tightness after eating, especially lately...Also I feel like I have to burp.... is this heartburn or acid reflux?
For those taking Lipitor with Acid Reflux Disease?
Have you found that taking Lipitor has made your acid reflux worse? My hubby is trying to figure out when his reflux got worse and thinks it is when Lipitor was added to his regimen. He has stopped taking it to see if this helps. He did have a EGD that found nothing out of the ordinary.
