what's a medical that can help acid reflux? my mom has it and cant find anything to help her. And we contacted our doctor he said pepnobispo or how ever you spell that pink crap anyways its not helping so do you know any median that can cure or help this please answer 10 points
Can you get fever from acid reflux?
I think i suffer from acid reflux cause occasionally I choke when I sleep, then my throat burns from acid, but the weird thing is that I wake up with fever for a few hours. Can you get fever from acid reflux?
Really bad acid reflux. How can I treat it?
So, the heartburn is so bad that it lasts most of the day, every day. I've been on Nexium for a while. It works, for the most part, but the side effects of diarrhea and abdominal cramps are problems. I tried pepcid, since that doesn't have those side effects, but it doesn't work as well. It keeps the heartburn at bay for perhaps half a day, and I end up having to take two pills when I'm only supposed to take one. And sometimes it just fails to work. So I've started dabbling into the natural cures. Milk has always helped, but it's very temporary. A friend suggested I take Apple Cider Vinegar pills. I did some research on those and found that it could make heartburn even worse. I tried it anyway. At first I took only one pill once a day instead of the labeled dose of two pills twice a day. It didn't help or make things worse. So I took the normal dose, and it made the heartburn a little worse. Either way it didn't work. Is there anything else I can try? Something that works as well as Nexium, but doesn't have those GI side effects?Actually the Nexium worked in one day. If it didn't have those side effects I wouldn't mind taking it still.So just normal vinegar? And I need it to work within a day or so because it doesn't go away. I might get an hour or so a day of relief, but it's very painful and lasts throughout the entire day. I can't wait a few days or more.I haven't been taking any teas. I can't stand to. It tastes like dirt and twigs. I did take St. John's Wort and Echinacea for a while, but I stopped taking those almost a month ago. The only other things I take are Claritin for my allergies, One Daily Women's, a Vitamin C supplement, and Culterelle because it helps my IBS.I haven't seen a food allergist. Where could I find one?
Feels like there's a bubble in my throat that I need to burp, with acid reflux too?
I haven't eaten anything that would cause this that I'm aware of, but for the past hour or so it's felt like there's a bubble in my throat that keeps getting higher and higher near my mouth until I swallow and it gets pushed back down, but never stops. This has happened before countless times, but I don't know if there has always been an acidic taste that goes with it. I also sometimes get a feeling as if there's a lump stuck in the back of my throat, though it's not the same feeling as the bubbles, as it stays for a week or two, and doesn't seem to change position.I'm afraid to not swallow for awhile, because they higher it gets, the more it feels like I'm going to choke, yet I want to burp it up because I know it will relieve my symptoms.I don't really have any symptoms other than my throat, though my neck has felt funny for awhile, as if I had pulled a muscle.Could this be GERD? Should I go to the doctor? I'm a fourteen year old female.Also, how can I relieve the symptoms, as it's too late to go out and get something and we don't have any antacids? I know I'm not going to be able to fall asleep with this feeling.

I am a 22 y o mom with a 9 month old son with acid reflux my husband is in the Navy and constantly and been gone from my eight month of pregnancy I have no help just want my son to sleep through the night I am overly exausted anyone have any suggestions to getting him to sleep through the night? He wakes up anywhere from 3 4 times a nightIve done the following 1. All diffrent milks from store bought to prescriptions 2. Dr. Brown ADVENT Bottles3.rice cereal fruits in the bottle 4. he gets baths right before bed5. Letting him cry it outoh and I guess I should have said that they want to do a operation the Gastro doctor and he has been on soy nutramigen to alementum now on eleacare formula and he has been on previcid and zantac as well
Anyone know about acid reflux?
I had chest pains for about a week and went to the er. They checked my heart I was okay. Did bloodwork, said it was prob ga related. Something to do with my stomach. So I went to the doctor and he said I have acid reflux. I now take prilosec have for about 4 days now. So my chest still hurts it sometimes is on my left breast other times different places on my chest. Could this still be acid reflux?? I do occasionly get heartburn still.
Stress worstened my acid reflux?
I was feeling fine but a little concerned about my acid reflux so I searched it up on google and there were scary information like it could be cancer and stuff and after reading that I started feeling like I couldn't breathe well and ever since I've been really stressed non stop and now I am forcing my self to think I have cancer or something. I am so scared I do feel like I have a lump in my throat and my doctor said thats from acid reflux but now I think its a tumour or something. I am having an endoscopy and seeing a specialist next Tuesday but I am terrified of the results. I feel so depressed and I feel like I am going to die young and I am only 17. I have been so depressed can anyone help me?Well I had this since I was about 12..and now Im 17 thats like 5 years. Is that a long for erroding my esophogus? and is esophogus cancer untreatable?
Why is my acid reflux flaring?
I have been suffering from acid reflux for almost a year, and it was diagnosed a few months ago. Even on medication I had almost daily pain, until I started on Kapidex medicine, about 2 months ago. Since then, I've been practically pain free, no matter what I eat or do. But now all of a sudden I've been having bad pain again, for the last three days or so. I haven't been eating any different or doing anything new, so what gives? Any ideas?
Question about acid reflux and feeding my 7 week old?
ok well my daughter is 7 weeks old and she has acid reflux. She does not reflux all the time but when she does its so bad that it comes out her nose and mouth and i have to use the green boogie thing to suck out her nose and mouth because it stops her breathing sometimes.. I have tried all that the doctor told me like keeping her upright after she eats for at least 30 45 min,, burping her constantly, i have changed her nipples to her bottles and it helps alittle but it tears my nerves up when she does it. The next step im going to try is to buy her the bottles with the liners so i can get all the air out already have the curved bottles and her doctor suggested putting cereal in her bottles but im worried that she is to little for that. Does anyone have any suggestions on what they did to help with this if your child has had this problem?? And also my doctor has her on a feeding schedule of 3 ounces every 2 hours. does that sound right to be feeding her because i was thinking maybe she is eating to much. she is on formula.thanks in advance and hope all is doing wellalso instead of using tap water i use nursery water... dont know if anyone has heard of that but its purified distilled water for babies.

Acid reflux or sensitive stomach?
Me and my mom both get heartburns a lot, usually after greasey foods. I'm 13 btw. Could this be acid reflux or just a sensitive stomachit doesn't happen every time we eat greasy foods, its an occasional thing
Nausea and Acid reflux for 6 months?
I've been having LPR and on and off Nausea for the past 6 months. LPR is a form of acid reflux where the acid reaches your throat. Not only do I experience the acid reaching my throat, but I feel it come up so far, it push pressure on my ear and in my nose. Sometimes it feels as if its trying to push itself out of my nose. I also have a lot of random periods of Nausea. I'll get nauseous for absolutely no reason at all or the littlest thing will make me extremely nauseous. When I got blood drawn for the G.I. doctor, he said everything was normal. Nothing at all was abnormal about my blood test. According to the blood test I was perfectly healthy. They've tried me on several kinds of medicine for my condition and nothing has helped. I had none of these symptoms before January. One day in January I just got really sick all of the sudden and started throwing up and didn't stop for 8 hours. After that day I've been dealing with nausea and acid reflux. Now I'm going to schedule an Endoscopy but I don't know what their going to find out from that, if anything. The medicines i've taken for acid don't fix the problem, and I took medicine for inflammation and it didn't fix the problem, so it can't be simply inflammation. The only other thing I can think of is stomach ulcers but I've heard that stomach ulcers cause physical pain, not frequent nausea and acid problems. What could it be? I don't want to lose hope but I'm starting to get scared. I've been so comfortable the past 6 months and cannot bare to live like this forever. I'm only 22 years old.Typo I've been so UNCOMFORTABLE the past 6 months.
